On successful completion of the course delegates should be able to identify hazards to the environment both generally and from an organisational perspective. Apply management principles & practice relating to environmental issues. Communicate environmental practices effectively to all levels of staff in an organisation, including senior management. Introduce environmental reviews. Understand environmental management systems (e.g. ISO 14001). Identify organisational responsibilities with regard to environmental legislation.
Who Should Attend?
This course is aimed particularly at managers and supervisors with environmental responsibilities but will also benefit those in health and safety positions who need to cover environmental issues in compliance with their organisation's environmental policy, legislation and best practice.
