Who Should Attend?

Supervisors and managers with responsibility for supervising lifting operations who have sufficient experience of the use of cranes to meet the requirements specified in British Standard 7121 Safe Use of Cranes. This course is aimed at people that already have site experience working as a slinger / signaller and want to progress onto the next level.

Joining Instructions

Candidates need to have taken the CSCS Supervisors Touch Screen Test prior to joining the course - this can be done at the training centre if required. Candidates name & CPCS/CSCS Registration number is required

The 5 Days Crane Supervisor Lifting Operations CPCS A62 training course is designed to equip candidates with essential knowledge and skills. Welcome to The Training Centre in Southam! Getting here is straightforward. If youre coming from A425 Warwick, head southeast on Banbury Road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Banbury Road, then merge onto the M40 towards London/Banbury. Take exit 12 for B4451 towards Gaydon, and turn right onto Gaydon Road. A quick right onto Knightcote Bottoms, followed by another right onto Knightcote Road, will lead you to Northend Road. Turn left onto Brook Street, then left again onto High Street, which becomes Station Road. Continue onto Wharf Road, and youll find The Training Centre on your right. Safe travels!

Accreditation

Candidates who successfully complete the 5 Days Crane Supervisor Lifting Operations CPCS A62 training course will be awarded a Red CPCS Crane Supervisor card, valid for two years. This card is a testament to their competence in crane supervision and lifting operations. To maintain their accreditation, candidates must complete an NVQ within the two-year period. Upon successful completion of the NVQ, they will qualify for a Blue CPCS card, which is valid for five years.
