Our Working Safely course is recognised by CSCS as an equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (face-to-face courses only). That means that delegates who successfully complete a classroom based Working Safely can apply for a CSCS green Labourer card once they have also passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test....

Upon completing the IOSH Working Safely training course, delegates will receive an internationally recognized accreditation. This certificate is awarded by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health IOSH, a leading professional body for health and safety practitioners.##$$##The assessment process for this course includes a short 20-minute closed book multiple-choice paper with 10 questions, as well as a hazard spotting exercise. Yes there will be an Evaluation using a multi-format question paper and a multiple choice hazard spotting exercise. If a delegate doesnt pass either Part A or Part B, you have two options:1. Tell the delegate that they havent passed and cant receive a certificate.If appropriate, you can show them the marked assessment and discuss the marking.If you do this, you should make sure the delegate knows about the IOSH appealsprocedure.2. Tell the delegate that they havent passed and let them know how they can retake theassessment. As with option 1, you can show the delegate the marked assessmentand discuss it with them.Working safely If you think that re-assessment is appropriate, you can ask the delegate to complete adifferent multi-format assessment paper. This is usually within 20 working days of theoriginal assessment.If the delegate passes this re-assessment, send IOSH their results in the usual way,quoting the original course reference number.If the delegate fails the re-assessment, you can show them the marked assessmentsand discuss it with them, but they wont be able to take another assessment unl
